There is every reason to think of the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport as a city unto its own – it’s open around the clock and boasts a wide range of services.
In addition to services directly related to travel – airlines, travel agencies, the Border Guard, etc. – the airport hosts banking and congress services, car rental agencies, a petrol station, courier services and dozens of stores and restaurants.
The service offering in nearby area is excellent including eg. the second-largest shopping centre in the Nordic countries, Jumbo, and entertainment centre Flamingo. In addition, the hotel accommodation offering in the nearby area is very good.
